2025 Ribbons Ladies Game Fishing Tournament
What an incredible day at the 2025 Ribbons Ladies Game Fishing Tournament held on 5th December in Cairns!
With 23 boats hitting the water, our amazing ladies took on some rough conditions and proved just how tough and determined they are. The weather may have tested us, but it certainly didn’t stop the action — our competitors fished hard, showed incredible resilience, and brought an unbeatable energy to the tournament.
The day was a true celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and passion for game fishing, with every crew embracing the challenge and making the most of the conditions. We are so proud of all the women who took part and made this event such a memorable success.

Ribbons Game Fishing Club will be launching a brand-new junior program in 2026 — Little Ribbons! Designed to inspire the next generation, this initiative will introduce kids to fishing in a fun, hands-on and supportive environment, with a focus on learning new skills, building confidence, and enjoying the outdoors.
